The Flusters

"It's insane how much easier the Rock-N-Roller Multi-Cart makes the life of a working musician. It's one of those products where once you get it, you can't remember what life was like without it. Dramatic statement? Yes, but seriously, this product is the pinnacle of working smarter not harder. We'd never gig without it."
Palm Desert-based indie rock quartet The Flusters dub their style "Dreamsurf": Washy, surfy guitar licks layered with driving, retro pop tempos and gentle vocal delivery.
The Flusters formed in late 2015 and shortly after, were invited to play Coachella Arts & Music Festival 2016 and Echo Park Rising 2016 both before releasing their debut EP later that year. They were named "Best Local Band" twice (2015 & 2017) by CV Independent and named "Best Live Performance Band" in 2016 by CV Weekly. In 2017, backed by a successful crowdfunding campaign, The Flusters completed a 22-city National tour, recorded 7 new tracks and released an official music video for their single "Everyday Dreaming" named "Best Single" by CV Weekly in 2018.
The Flusters’ main influence is actually a single song: “After Dark” by Tito Y Tarantula which was featured the Robert Rodriguez film “Dusk Till Dawn” during Salma Hayek’s famous “Snake Dance” scene. Other influences include: Roy Orbison, Dick Dale, The Pixies, Echo & The Bunnymen and The Smiths.
The Flusters have spent most of 2018 playing shows (the most notable being Rhythm Wine & Brews w/ Stone Temple Pilots, The Psychedelic Furs & She Wants Revenge). Their debut LP, "Dreamsurf" was released in 2019 with an official music video for their new single, "When Will Then Be Now?" followed by a national tour. Members include: Dougie VanSant (Vocals/ Guitar) Danny White (Guitar) Mario Estrada (Bass) Daniel Perry (Drums)
